Where checks run
Checks run from six regions: Frankfurt, London, Virginia, Oregon, Singapore and Sydney. Each check picks a different one in turn.
How a failure is confirmed
When a check fails, Pointsman retries from another region within seconds. A second failure opens an incident. One failure alone only appears on the monitor page.
Pinning a region
If a service is only available in one place, pin the monitor to that region under its advanced settings. Pinned monitors retry from the same region after a short wait.
