A failed check now retries from another region before anyone is paged. In our own data this removed most false alarms caused by a single network path.
Retries happen within seconds, so real outages are not delayed in any way you would notice.
What you need to do
Nothing. This is on for every monitor. If a service should only be checked from one place, you can pin it to a region in the monitor settings.
